Description

W63 (Westerhout Catalog 63). 
W63, a predominantly OIII emitting SNR, was discovered in 1958 by the astronomer Gart Westerhout.
Size in our apperent view approx. 95 x65 arcmin.
Distance about 15.000 LY.
Age of the SNR 5.000 years
